Yesterday (29th April), we successfully delivered a high-impact Seafarers’ event for the maritime community a timely initiative dedicated to empowering seafarers, cadets, their families, and maritime institutes across the island 🇱🇰
The program featured focused sessions on financial wellbeing, along with essential soft skills training under our GRM license for seafarers and cadets. A key highlight was the special session by Director Navigation, Capt. Upul Peiris , on “Seafarers’ Occupational Safety and Health and Navigating the Future.”
This initiative has received strong endorsement from the Shipping Ministry and high appreciation from the Director General of Merchant Shipping clear recognition of its significance to the industry 🌟
Launched last year, this initiative will continue as a flagship program of Ceyline Shipping , expanding its reach across seafarer communities and maritime institutes islandwide, with a special focus on International Seafarers’ Day ⚓
